Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their unique needs and establish appropriate treatment goals.
  • Maintain clear communications with supervisors, colleagues, family members, and case managers to provide updates on clients' progress and coordinate care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs, ensuring that they align with their personal goals and your professional standards.
  • Schedule and conduct regular home visits, as necessary, to gather observational data and provide in-home support.
  • Continuously monitor the implementation of treatment plans, adjusting them as needed in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on case management and share progress updates, challenges, and strategies.
  • Document all client interactions and treatment progression thoroughly to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on the implementation of treatment strategies and usage of documentation practices.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive system for record-keeping that allows for easy access to client files by authorized parties.
  • Foster relationships with the broader mental health community, contributing to the development of local resources and initiatives aimed at improving client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population, including both youth and adults facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon.

  • Familiarity and specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders are strongly preferred.
