Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular online therapy sessions for individuals dealing with a range of emotional and mental health challenges, adapting techniques based on their unique needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support clients, helping them establish coping strategies and build resilience.
• Engage in active listening and provide empathetic responses to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Collaborate with clients to identify personal growth opportunities, guiding them in their journey toward recovery and wellness.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with best practices and address specific client goals.
• Maintain detailed electronic documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with organizational and HIPAA standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve include individuals from various backgrounds, experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. This diverse patient population requires a therapist who can adapt their approaches and techniques to meet differing emotional and cultural needs. Your role will be instrumental in facilitating their journey towards better mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting providing therapeutic services is required.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent listening skills are essential to effectively support clients.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and virtual counseling platforms is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with teletherapy modalities and adapting traditional therapeutic techniques for a virtual setting.
• Background in group therapy facilitation or community mental health initiatives.
• Additional certifications or training in specialized therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, EMDR, DBT) are advantageous.
