Job Summary:

They are seeking a Senior EAM/GIS Developer-GIS Analyst with expertise in Esri ArcGIS to develop and maintain geospatial datasets and collaborate with cross-functional teams on GIS applications.
Responsibilities:
• Expertise in Esri ArcGIS: Advanced proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Enterprise 11.x, ArcGIS Pro 3.x, and related extensions, with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining geospatial datasets, maps, layers, apps, and dashboards.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of GPS technology, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, model builder, and other geospatial software tools essential for GIS data management and analysis.
• Platform Management: Experience in administering ArcGIS Online and/or ArcGIS Enterprise organizations, managing users, content, roles, and implementing security protocols.
• Best Practices and Workflows: Ability to create, enhance, and document best practices and workflows for the ArcGIS platform, ensuring efficient and effective utilization across projects.
• Collaboration and Solution Development: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify solutions, and define testing strategies for GIS applications and integrations.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for GIS solutions, participate in code reviews, and provide feedback to ensure high quality and reliability.
• Railroad Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the railroad industry is advantageous, though not required, to understand specific operational needs and constraints.
• Independence and Project Management: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects concurrently, and deliver results within deadlines while adhering to project priorities and goals.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts, collaborate with stakeholders, and document processes and outcomes.
• Integration and API Development: Experience in developing integrations using Esri platform APIs and third-party APIs to enhance GIS functionalities and interoperability is a plus.
