As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Bliss Care, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions via secure video conferencing, utilizing therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Engaging clients in dialogue to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, thereby facilitating deeper insights into their mental health and relationships.
• Advocating for clients by collaboratively establishing therapeutic goals and monitoring their progression throughout the treatment journey.
• Assessing clients’ mental health conditions and developing tailored, solution-oriented treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and your clinical expertise.
• Participating in ongoing training and development initiatives to enhance therapeutic skills and stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

Your primary focus will be on adults seeking mental health support. All clients referred to you will be prescreened and identified as stable with low-acuity needs, allowing you to concentrate on therapeutic engagement and effective treatment without the burden of severe cases. To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent state-issued license in one of the following areas: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Please note that provisional or limited licenses are not accepted.
• Demonstrable ability to make professional evaluations, treatment recommendations, and implement therapeutic plans.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a sympathetic, compassionate approach to client interactions.
• Proficient computer literacy skills, with the ability to navigate telehealth platforms and therapy management software.
