Opportunity: Contingent specialist role supporting Axyde's proposal for USTDA 1131PL26R0056
Mobilization: Potential Regional Asia travel within 20 calendar days after Axyde's written notice following award

Role purpose

Design and challenge geothermal drilling and wellfield programs whose cost, schedule and learning sequence reduce resource risk before major capital commitment.

Representative problems this role must solve
  • A sponsor's drilling plan does not reconcile target uncertainty, rig/logistics constraints, loss zones, temperature, corrosion, well control or testing requirements.
  • Well count, productivity and contingency assumptions create an optimistic development schedule and capital estimate.
  • Remote or island logistics require a realistic mobilization, spares, service-company and recovery plan.
Responsibilities
  • Review well objectives, targeting, casing/completion design, drilling program, logging/testing, stimulation, reinjection and wellfield-development sequence.
  • Develop risk-based drilling cost and schedule inputs, contingency logic, learning wells, stop/go gates and recovery paths.
  • Assess rig, service-company, materials, logistics, HSE, well-control and remote-site constraints.
  • Integrate drilling results and uncertainty with reservoir, plant, finance and implementation work packages.
Minimum evidence-based qualifications
  • Direct geothermal drilling, completions, well testing, wellfield development or drilling-program assurance experience.
  • Evidence of personally designing, executing or independently reviewing geothermal wells and associated cost/schedule/risk estimates.
  • Oil-and-gas experience is relevant only when paired with demonstrated geothermal transfer or direct high-temperature/geothermal work.
  • Demonstrated senior/expert judgment, normally supported by at least 10 years of directly relevant work and specific project or decision-product evidence.
  • Ability to separate verified facts, assumptions, professional judgments, uncertainties and recommendations in concise written English.
  • U.S. citizen or non-U.S. citizen lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the United States; written attestation is required before proposal inclusion.
  • Ability to become available for potential Regional Asia travel within 20 calendar days after Axyde's written mobilization notice following contract award, subject to assignment needs and Government direction.
  • Willingness to disclose availability, employment/contract restrictions, confidentiality obligations, conflicts, noncompetes and country/customer limitations.
