As an LCSW in our hospice setting, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities crucial for effective patient care:

• Conduct in-depth clinical assessments to understand the unique psychological and emotional needs of patients and their families within the context of end-of-life care.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other tailored approaches.
• Maintain careful and precise clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all patient interactions are recorded and accessible for the multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nursing staff, and psychologists, to create a cohesive treatment strategy that prioritizes comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in regular case consultations with peers to refine treatment approaches and enhance professional skills, contributing actively to an environment of continuous learning.
• Provide psychoeducation for patients and families, helping them navigate the complexities of mental health issues and treatment resources related to hospice care.
• Stay updated with industry trends, research, and clinical best practices to inform your therapeutic methods and improve patient outcomes.

In this role, you will primarily work with patients who are receiving hospice care and experiencing varying degrees of emotional distress related to terminal illnesses. The focus will be on providing support for grief, loss, and adjustment to change, helping both patients and their families cope with complex emotional challenges during this critical phase of life.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) indicating your professional standing.
• At least three years of clinical experience in mental health settings, preferably related to psychotherapy and end-of-life care.
• Strong knowledge and skills in solution-focused therapeutic interventions that foster positive transformations and coping mechanisms.
• Exceptional communication abilities, with a focus on empathy and establishing rapport with patients and their families.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenging clinical situations effectively.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
