Work Environment

As a remote Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work from the comfort of your own home while maintaining close communication with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychologists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments with clients to understand their goals and preferences while developing customized treatment plans aimed at rehabilitation and growth.
  • Create individualized rehabilitation strategies based on thorough evaluations of clients' backgrounds, strengths, and aspirations, adjusting plans as needed throughout the therapeutic process.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs tailored to clients’ specific needs.
  • Document detailed case files, capturing clients' backgrounds, treatment details, progress notes, and correspondence to ensure quality care and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes and address any challenges that arise.
  • Engage with clients during job training and occupational placement activities, helping resolve any issues quickly to enhance their learning and recovery experiences.
  • Work with clients’ families and friends to facilitate a supportive network, ensuring relevant resources and strategies are available to help meet their needs.
  • Assess client requirements without delay and provide timely recommendations or referrals to appropriate services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with diverse adult clients who may be facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders. Qualifications
  • A master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia.
