Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and coordinate discharge planning on the day of admission for all patients, ensuring patients understand their coping skills, transition plans, and available resources at the point of discharge.
  • Effectively manage crisis situations during therapy sessions and provide guidance and support to milieu staff in their patient interactions, maintaining communication with the treatment team to uphold the highest quality of clinical care.
  • Complete all required clinical documentation promptly at the time of service to maintain a streamlined workflow and ensure accurate patient records.
  • Establish therapeutic rapport by assessing patients for suicidality and any potential risks to themselves or others, creating a safe space for healing.
  • Facilitate the admission assessment process for new patients, showcasing professionalism and a welcoming demeanor to foster a positive first impression.
  • Actively participate in a weekly treatment team meeting to communicate ongoing treatment goals and collaborate with other clinical professionals, providing support during team members' absences as needed.
  • Conduct utilization reviews for insurance companies, supplying necessary clinical documentation for initial authorization and continued treatment approval.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with family members, ensuring prompt responses to queries within two hours during business hours, and within 24 hours during off-hours for non-urgent matters.
  • Coordinate communication between the Utilization Review Department and Business Department, ensuring all authorization and payment processes run smoothly.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a key member of our clinical team, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population seeking support for various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychosocial issues. Qualifications
