DeepSig is the industry leader in ML-based signal sensing with a strong product portfolio. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to expand that portfolio utilizing the latest technology to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving industry.

In this role, you will participate in the influence of the full product development life cycle: from requirements and design through development, validation, documentation, launch, and ongoing maintenance. You will work directly with key customers and product stakeholders to shape the roadmap and deliver high-impact features.

As part of the process, we may invite you to complete a short, practical exercise to showcase your development skills.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Expand and maintain DeepSig signal sensing products
  • Work with product stakeholders to contribute to the roadmap, delivering customer and engineering-driven features
  • Keep up with software and hardware advances and industry best practices; identify appropriate technologies and chart a course for their integration
  • Create and maintain technical designs; lead and participate in design reviews to ensure quality and alignment across the team
  • Manage build systems and dependencies
  • Work directly with key customers to establish requirements, design solutions, develop, and deliver

Tech Stack:

  • C++17
  • NVIDIA stack (CUDA, TensorRT)
  • Python, PyTorch
  • CMake
  • Docker
  • GitLab
  • GoogleTest, pytest

What We Need to See:

  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States by US citizenship to meet certain information processing and contract requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of C++ development experience with strong command of modern C++
  • Experience developing and maintaining build environments for C/C++ applications (Make/CMake)
  • Demonstrated experience across full software development life cycle
  • Technical leadership experience such as mentoring engineers, leading design reviews, and coordinating work across a team

What We Would Like to See:

  • Experience managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI)
  • Experience developing and deploying applications on Linux (packaging, system services, shell scripting)
  • GPU development experience (e.g. CUDA)
  • Software-defined radio (SDR) experience
  • Embedded system experience
  • This opportunity is ideal if you possess experience in or a strong enthusiasm for AI/ML, HPC, SIGINT, SDR, FPGA, or wireless technology

Working at DeepSig

DeepSig is growing its technical team while cultivating a collaborative, agile, and fun small-team culture. We value creativity, knowledge sharing, and employee growth, and we encourage participation in scientific publications, conferences, and open-source software. We offer competitive salaries and benefits, an employee stock option grant program, an environment where we are excited to be transforming and disrupting how signal processing is done with AI/ML, a welcoming and inclusive environment, a flexible schedule, and a great work / life balance.
