The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico:

We are seeking Client Virtualization Administrator to support and maintain a complex Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. In this role, you will administer and optimize physical and virtual infrastructure, troubleshoot complex technical issues, implement new technologies aligned with industry best practices, and collaborate across IT and Cybersecurity teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and security. The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional with expertise in virtualization, enterprise infrastructure, and systems administration who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 What You Will Do

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
  • Support virtual infrastructure using Nutanix, VMware, and Citrix technologies.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and infrastructure issues.
  • Manage core infrastructure services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and server replication.
  • Implement system updates and enhancements following established best practices.
  • Partner with Cybersecurity to maintain system security and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support enterprise infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and assist with user training.
  • This position will reference written work instructions for guidance with daily job activities. Work instructions are available in English only.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience administering and supporting VMware environments, including vCenter, vSphere, and ESXi.
  • Experience implementing, migrating, supporting, and troubleshooting cloud-based infrastructure and architecture solutions.
  • Experience administering or supporting enterprise data storage technologies, including NAS and SAN solutions.
  • Experience implementing, configuring, or supporting hyperconverged infrastructure solutions, such as Nutanix and Citrix platforms.
  • Experience working with networking technologies, including TCP/IP, switches, firewalls, and routers, in enterprise environments.
  • Experience developing technical solutions and documentation to resolve complex infrastructure issues and support recurring issue prevention.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • 4+ years experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX virtual computing methods
  • Cloud foundation certification: Azure, AWS or Oracle
  • Experience with remote service projection utilizing HP blade technology, HP Boost, and Loestream, NVidia GPU, Citrix, Nutanix hyper-converged capability
  • Advanced knowledge of system performance monitoring and deployment of associated tools
  • Patch management experience using Windows WSUS, SCCM, or other standard tools
  • System administration experience in a Linux environment
  • Basic knowledge Redhat Enterprise Linux Experience with Remote services and performance optimization
  • Experience with license managers in a Windows or Linux environment
