• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' biopsychosocial needs to identify issues and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy tailored to each patient's unique circumstances and clinical appropriateness.

• Engage actively in case management, including communication with healthcare team members, to coordinate and streamline patient care effectively.

• Participate in program planning and development with psychiatrists and other team members to enhance our service offerings.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and uphold the ethical and professional standards mandated by the agency.

• Conduct crisis assessments and interventions for patients in acute distress, demonstrating responsiveness and skill under pressure.

This role serves a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing a range of mental health challenges. You will work closely with patients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflicts, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will guide clients toward improved mental health and overall wellbeing.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling position, ideally within a clinical or medical context.

• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards governing clinical practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a broad range of clientele.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies to efficiently document and manage patient care.

• Specialization or significant experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly desirable.

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
