Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our team supporting the Nevada National Security Site! This position is full-time and will be based out of North Las Vegas, Nevada.
The site is open to a remote position if they are willing to travel to the North Las Vegas Office every other week for the first two months and then a minimum of once a month thereafter.
Responsibilities
  • Develop Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) and/or Project Requirement Specifications (PRS) for electrical projects.
  • Support the electrical component of building, utility, or equipment projects including project/task breakdowns, identification of requirements (functional, non-functional, operational requirements).
  • Develop conceptual visualizations and illustrations of the layouts, site plans, and other perspective views to support the requirements document.
  • Develop FRD/PRS and work with integrated project teams (IPTs) and stakeholders to capture their input, research, develop the existing process, use existing templates and previous projects, perform FRD/PRS reviews and comment incorporation and resolution with IPT members, and finalize the document for approvals.

Requirements
  • Education & Years of Experience - Bachelor's Degree and 13+ years of relevant experience; additional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Citizenship - To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
  • Clearance - To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
  • Must have skills in document development (Word and Excel) as they will ultimately be producing documents.
