Who We're Looking For - Senior Software Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Clearlink. In this role, you'll develop high-quality, secure, and maintainable software that serves both our users and our business goals. You'll work across the full stack-building performant, responsive websites and dynamic front-end interfaces, designing custom APIs, and optimizing databases-while collaborating closely with product managers, UX designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions. Beyond the code, you'll help shape our engineering culture: leading technical design reviews, reviewing peers' work with constructive feedback, mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, and supporting a team environment built on open communication and feedback.

  • Write secure, testable, maintainable, and extensible code using industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and cross-functional teams to build and deliver customer-centric technical solutions.
  • Leverage your expertise in Typescript, React, Node, Go, & PHP, and related frameworks to develop performant, responsive websites.
  • Design and optimize Postgres & MySQL databases and implement effective database strategies.
  • Use JavaScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Node to build dynamic front-end interfaces.
  • Apply strong knowledge of DevOps workflows to support efficient development and deployment.
  • Work on web applications with service-oriented and high-availability architecture.
  • Design and build custom APIs to support rapid development.
  • Use GitHub or similar version control systems to manage and review code.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to help foster a culture of open communication and feedback.
  • Lead or participate in technical design reviews to evaluate and select the best solutions.
  • Review code from other developers, offering constructive feedback to uphold code quality and best practices.
  • Participate in the hiring process and mentor junior and mid-level engineers to support skill development and knowledge sharing.
What You Bring
  • Five (5) years of experience with object-oriented programming and with one or more programming languages and frameworks, such as PHP, Java, Node JS, Golang or JavaScript.
  • Five (5) years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
  • Three (3) years of experience with Vue.js, Angular or React.
  • Three (3) years of experience testing, maintaining, and launching software products.
  • One (1) year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Experience developing and supporting CMS-driven applications and integrations
  • Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform/CDK/cloudformation etc
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and other tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Bitbucket, Git, or Postman.
  • Application and Data Security.
  • Streaming Technologies.Experience with relational SQL, NoSQL, and Graph databases such as Neo4j, Document DB, etc.
  • Ability to understand existing codebase / open source technologies and optimize
