• Conduct comprehensive individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of clients.
• Assess clients’ histories and current concerns using standardized tools and personal interactions to inform the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, utilizing methodologies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as deemed appropriate for client challenges.
• Provide ongoing support and therapeutic interventions to address emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges faced by clients.
• Document session notes and treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational protocols.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and improve overall patient outcomes.
• Participate in regular professional development and training sessions to stay current with industry trends and guidelines.

Your role as a counselor will be pivotal in providing emotional support and facilitating personal growth for clients from varied backgrounds.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Current and valid state licensure as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Georgia.
• At least 2 years of direct experience in counseling, providing a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on active listening, empathy, and the ability to connect authentically with clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tailor treatment approaches effectively.
• Commitment to uphold ethical and professional standards as outlined by state regulatory boards.

• Experience working in a telehealth environment is a plus, as familiarity with online counseling dynamics enhances service delivery.
• Proficiency in specific therapeutic modalities, such as CBT or mindfulness-based techniques.
• Experience working with specific populations, including adolescents or individuals facing addiction or trauma.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, complemented by a potential sign-on bonus.
