Position: Brand Ambassador (NY / Westchester County)
Department: Sales
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager 
Description/Expectations: Hendler Family Brewing Company is seeking enthusiastic knowledgeable beer lovers to join our Brand Ambassador team!  Brand Ambassadors act as the face of Jack's Abby, Wormtown and Night Shift- engaging with and educating the public at tastings, events, and festivals. This job is the perfect way for a craft beer enthusiast to break into the industry on a part-time basis. This position is paid hourly and requires evening and occasional weekend availability. This position starts at $25/hour. $10 stipend for travel over an hour total to & from tastings, agreed in advance. $25 stipend post tasting for communication and performance as outlined by sales managers.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Attend and pour beer samples at retail tastings and craft beer events or festivals as scheduled by Sales Representatives and Sales Managers
  • Engage with shoppers, festival attendees, and the general public to spread the word about our beers 
  • Sign patrons up for our newsletter and social media pages
  • Perform at least one event per month
  • Have fun!
Job Requirements: 
  • Interpersonal and public speaking skills- an ideal candidate considers themselves someone who could “talk to anyone”
  • A flexible schedule with evening and occasional weekend availability
  • An interest in craft beer 
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Must be 21+
  • TIPS certified - we will cover your training and certification cost!
