Job Title: Assistant Manager

Function: Accounting and Reporting Consulting (ARC)

Location: Bay area, NYC

Role & Responsibilities

Uniqus is seeking professionals for our ARC team. As a member of the team, you will work with clients to provide high-quality accounting advisory services, focusing on the application of accounting standards, assisting clients with financial reporting, and dealing with complex accounting issues. You will be responsible for assisting the team (comprising of MDs/Partner/Associate Directors) with project execution and management.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical accounting assistance to clients on complex accounting issues, conduct research on accounting topics and prepare technical memos.
  • Assist with financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements, MD&A and SEC filings including registration statements.
  • Support the team to manage client relationships and act as a point of contact for clients.
  • Participate in business development activities and contribute to proposal and go to market activities.
  • Stay up to date on developments in accounting standards and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Identify engagement and client service issues. Research and benchmark client data to industry data.
