The Role
Lead on-site compressed air system assessments to identify energy, reliability, and production improvements. Deliver clear, quantified recommendations and work with the team to convert assessments into implementable solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead full-site supply- and demand-side compressed air assessments.
- Collect and analyze pressure, flow, power, and air-quality data; size and baseline systems.
- Use data loggers and field instruments (flow meters, pressure/current transmitters, power meters, dew point sensors).
- Quantify energy and cost savings and document findings in client reports and presentations.
- Develop preliminary schematic designs: single-line drawings, P&IDs, equipment schedules, piping diagrams.
- Communicate findings to clients and internal teams; help refine assessment process and go-to-market approach.
Must-have Qualifications
- 5+ years in manufacturing/industrial engineering or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering preferred (or comparable experience).
- Practical experience designing or assessing industrial compressed air systems.
- Comfortable in industrial settings; able to use hand tools, work at heights, and stand/walk for long periods.
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills; excellent written/verbal presentation ability.
- Valid driver’s license; US citizenship required.
- Able to travel ~50% (typically 2–3 weeks/month).

- Automation/controls (PLCs) experience.
- Hands-on troubleshooting and field commissioning experience.
