$125k to $185k per year depending on experience and skills

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Linux sysadmin experience in medium to large IT environments
  • Strong fluency with Linux tools, debugging, and performance analysis
  • Strong familiarity with Linux packaging tools and usage such as Yum, Apt, dpkg, Rpm
  • Should be comfortable using Python, BASH, or other high-level languages to automate repetitive tasks, analyze logs, and identify performance bottlenecks
  • Familiarity with SQL and Databases. SQL scripting (Postgres direct experience a plus)
  • Hands on CLI experience administering large scale NAS storage
  • Hands-on experience with NFS and SMB protocol mounting and troubleshooting
  • Deep expertise on the linux command line and tools to diagnose issues and optimize performance
  • Familiarity with, and experience troubleshooting permissions issues such as LDAP, active directory, and PAM
  • Strong debugging and system diagnostics for performance analysis and problem determination
  • Experience working with Web services such as HTML, Nginx, CGI, and Apache
  • Competent network and network troubleshooting skills
  • Windows administration experience a plus
  • Experience with parallel file systems (Lustre, GPFS, BGFS, etc) is a plus
  • Experience with data protection, migration, or archiving software (i.e., NetApp, Veritas, Rubrik, Cohesity, Komprise, Commvault) is a plus.
