Job description

Strategic Account Executive, Named

Location: Greater Boston, MA
Team: Sales
Employment Type: Full-Time

About VulnCheck

Exploitation prevention is only as strong as the intelligence driving those efforts, and most of the industry is still running on intelligence that lacks exploit context. VulnCheck, The Exploit Intelligence Company, delivers structured exploit intelligence on what is actively weaponized in the wild, purpose-built for the data lakes, ETL pipelines, automation, and AI and LLM workflows your infrastructure already runs on, raising the capability of everything it powers.

About the Role

We're looking for a proven Strategic Account Executive based in the Greater Boston area to join our fast-growing team. This hybrid role is ideal for a driven, consultative seller who can navigate complex buying cycles and thrive in the fast-paced environment of an early-stage cyber company.

You'll play a critical role in growing VulnCheck's presence across enterprise accounts, with a strong focus on expanding our footprint within large U.S.-based enterprises, security teams, and threat-centric organizations.

What You'll Do
  • Own and grow a named set of enterprise accounts, with a focus on net-new revenue and strategic expansion.
  • Drive net-new revenue by qualifying, developing, and closing high-value opportunities.
  • Maintain a consistent and strategic pipeline with accurate forecasting in Salesforce.
Lead the full sales cycle-from prospecting and partner collaboration (technology and reseller partners) through negotiation and close.
  • Build relationships with CISOs, Vulnerability Management leaders, Threat Intelligence teams, SOC leaders, and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing to tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader in vulnerability intelligence and attack surface reduction.
You might be a great fit if you:
  • Have 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in cybersecurity, with a track record of consistently hitting or exceeding quota
  • Have closed complex, high-value deals ($200K+ ACV) with long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving procurement, legal, and security review
  • Walk in with existing relationships with CISOs, VM leaders, or Threat Intel decision-makers, not just contacts, but people who'd take your call
  • Know how to build and manage a partner-influenced pipeline (technology and reseller partners), not just direct deals
  • Bring a consultative, technically credible approach: you can go deep enough with security practitioners to earn trust, then translate that into a commercial conversation
  • Are disciplined in Salesforce hygiene and forecasting, leadership can trust your pipeline numbers
Qualifications (Required)
  • Experience selling within one or more of the following domains:
    • Attack Surface Management (ASM)
      Vulnerability Management (VM)
    • Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI)
  • Existing relationships with CISOs and senior security leaders.
  • Experience selling into financial services or critical infrastructure organizations.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability feeds, CVE scoring systems, or exploit marketplaces.
  • Experience working in hybrid or distributed teams.
What We Offer

We believe people do their best work when they feel supported, trusted, and valued. VulnCheck offers benefits designed to meet a wide range of needs and lifestyles, tailored to your country of employment:

  • Generous, flexible time off
  • Retirement/pension plan contributions (e.g., 401k with match in the US; local pension schemes elsewhere)
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage
  • Generous paid parental leave
  • Remote-friendly environment with flexibility
  • Support for home office costs (phone & internet)
  • Ongoing professional development, coaching, and learning resources
  • Opportunities for career advancement within a fast-growing team

Specific benefit details vary by country and are confirmed during the offer process.
