Tax Senior Manager

Remote flexibility with offices near Akron or Youngstown, OH

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of tax clients across a variety of industries.
  • Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S corporations, trusts, and individuals.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to business owners and high net worth clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
  • Mentor, coach, and review the work of tax staff, seniors, and managers.
  • Assist with staff development, performance evaluations, and training initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client operations through proactive tax strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • CPA license required.
  • 6+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience reviewing complex tax returns and supervising staff.
  • Familiarity with modern tax preparation and workflow software.
