Job Title: Integration Architect / Senior Integration Developer

Location: Hybrid - Chicago, IL (4 days onsite/1 day remote)

Pay Rate: $70-75/hr 1099 / C2C

Contract Length: 12+ Months 

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Integration Architect / Senior Integration Developer to join our growing HaloITSM practice. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integrations between HaloITSM and third-party applications, databases, cloud services, and on-premises systems.

The ideal candidate is a strong programmer with extensive systems integration experience, excellent customer-facing skills, and the ability to mentor junior resources. This role will play a key part in expanding our integration services offerings across the Halo customer base.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support integrations between HaloITSM and third-party systems.
  • Develop API-based, database-driven, file-based, and event-driven integrations.
  • Participate in customer discovery sessions to gather business and technical requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and data synchronization issues.
  • Create technical documentation, integration specifications, and deployment procedures.
  • Lead integration projects from design through implementation and support.
  • Mentor and guide junior integration developers and consultants.
  • Review technical designs and code developed by team members.
  • Assist with estimating effort and defining project delivery approaches.
  • Work directly with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of our integration service offerings and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software development and systems integration experience.
  • Strong programming experience in one or more of the following:
  • C#
  • Python
  • JavaScript / Node.js
  • Java
  • Strong experience working with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and web services.
  • Experience integrating cloud and on-premises applications.
  • Strong SQL and database experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues across multiple systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work directly with customers and lead technical discussions.
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior technical resources.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HaloITSM or HaloPSA.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Power Automate.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), OAuth, SAML, and SCIM.
  • Experience with ETL, data migration, and data transformation projects.
  • Experience with monitoring and support of production integrations.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), Enterprise Service Management (ESM), or ITIL frameworks.
