• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, including crisis intervention strategies and behavioral guidelines.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in adherence to all regulatory standards, maintaining a high-quality record of client progress and treatment outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies to support the clinical team's efforts in identifying effective treatment interventions.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans aimed at enhancing client wellness.
• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring that Brightside meets all legal and quality assurance standards.
• Serve as an integral liaison to various state agencies, service systems, and community partners to facilitate coordinated care and enhance service delivery.
• Foster open lines of communication with clients and stakeholders to uphold our clinic's mission and promote community engagement.
• Develop relationships with local and state agencies to identify potential partnerships and funding opportunities that will strengthen our services and outreach efforts.
• Pursue ongoing professional development, attending workshops, conferences, and statewide meetings to remain current in best practices within the mental health field.
• Promote the core values and philosophy of our organization in all aspects of your work, contributing to a supportive and positive workplace culture.
• Adhere to any additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director, ensuring completion of tasks aligns with organizational goals.

Your expertise will directly impact individuals across a wide spectrum of needs, including those dealing with emotional distress, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and those recovering from brain injuries. By employing a strengths-based approach, you will facilitate their journey toward recovery and improved quality of life.

• A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• An independent LMHC license is essential for this position. If you currently hold a license from another state, we will support you in obtaining California licensure by covering the necessary fees.

• Experience working in a community health setting or with diverse populations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and experience in crisis management will be advantageous.
• Prior involvement in multidisciplinary teams and community engagement efforts is a plus.
