Job description

Physical Therapist (PT) – Remote | Part-Time | 1099 | NY & NJ License Required.
10–20 Hours Per Week | Flexible Schedule | Remote.

MUST HAVE ACTIVE PT LICENSES IN BOTH NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY. Candidates without both licenses will not be considered.

Stern at Home Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for a flexible, part-time remote 1099 opportunity supporting patients across New York and New Jersey.

This role is ideal for a PT looking to supplement their current schedule, work from home, and maintain flexibility without committing to a full-time position.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide remote physical therapy services via telehealth, with assistance from in-person Physical Therapy Assistants.
  • Complete patient evaluations, re-evaluations, and discharges.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with patients and the care team as needed.
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care from the comfort of your home.

Schedule & Compensation:
  • Part-time: 10–20 hours per week.
  • $15 for progress notes and $40 for evaluations.
  • Flexible scheduling.
  • Remote position.
  • 1099 independent contractor.

Requirements:
  • Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in New York.
  • Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in New Jersey.
  • Located in the Eastern Time Zone.
  • Degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Current and unrestricted licenses in both states.
  • Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
  • Comfortable providing care through telehealth.
  • Reliable internet connection and a private workspace.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
