Job Description:
Job Summary
Responsible for delivering advanced clinical education and support to student groups in real-world healthcare settings. Provides mentorship, coordination, and demonstration of best-practice procedures to ensure achievement of program and course objectives. Develops and adapts instructional strategies in collaboration with didactic and clinical faculty to enhance learner outcomes. Ensures alignment of clinical placements, student assignments, and institutional standards while driving continuous improvement of the clinical experience.
Essential Functions
• Coordinates clinical site partnerships and assignments for student groups in line with program objectives.
• Orients students to clinical environments, equipment, protocols, and safety standards.
• Demonstrates advanced clinical procedures and techniques, modeling high-quality patient care and supervising student performance.
• Leads group discussions on clinical objectives, student progress, and reflective practice in real-time clinical settings.
• Monitors and assesses student performance during clinical rotations, providing timely feedback, remediation, and evaluation.
• Collaborates with didactic faculty and clinical staff to ensure integration of theory and practice and alignment of learning outcomes.
• Identifies gaps in student competence or clinical process and recommends improvements to curriculum, clinical protocols or site workflows.
• Maintains compliance with institutional, regulatory and accreditation standards for clinical education and student supervision.
• Serves as a resource and escalation point for complex student issues, clinical site challenges or unexpected situations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement
Bachelor's degree
Experience Requirement
5+ years of experience in healthcare administration, public health, or a relevant area
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
