JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Harrisburg, a member of the NCAA Division III, is accepting applications for a part-time Assistant Coach for the sport of Field Hockey with the Department of Athletics.

Job Duties
  • Assisting the Head Coach in recruiting and program development, practice preparation and game day coaching.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.

Hours will vary between 10 to 15 hours/week (off-season) and 25 to 35 hours/week (in-season). This is a part-time hourly opening. BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
