- Develop custom Shopify themes and modify existing ones to meet business requirements.
- Integrate third-party apps and APIs to enhance the functionality of our Shopify stores.
- Design and build efficient Apps to integrate business systems into Shopify and provide highly customized functionality.
- Optimize website performance, including page load speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Shopify platform.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, best practices, and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shopify Engineer, with a strong portfolio of successful Shopify projects.
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in building custom storefronts using Shopify Hydrogen and deploying them with Shopify Oxygen.
- Experience with Shopify Plus and its advanced features.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and SEO principles.
- Experience with webhooks and API development
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
