Highland Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team, specializing in supporting individuals within a detox center setting. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity for social workers to make significant impacts on the lives of individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders.

About the Organization

At Highland Counseling Services, we empower marginalized communities by helping them realize their full potential. Our mission is to foster an inclusive environment where every individualโ€”be it a client, partner, vendor, or employeeโ€”can thrive. We believe in the strength that comes from diversity, equity, and authenticity, and are committed to honoring the unique experiences of each employee as we work collectively towards our goals.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing LCSWs to provide essential services from the comfort of their own homes. As part of our detox center team, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary professionals, including therapists, medical staff, and addiction specialists, to create a cohesive treatment environment focused on comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for clients entering the detox program, tailoring approaches to meet their specific needs.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) to ensure structured support for both clients and their families.
  • Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, providing feedback to the care team to enhance the effectiveness of our interventions.
  • Support families through education and resources, equipping them with strategies to foster their loved onesโ€™ recovery and development.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment practices to design individualized treatment plans that promote positive outcomes.
  • Engage with clients through virtual check-ins and provide ongoing support, ensuring adherence to all federal and state mental health regulations.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, guiding discussions and sharing best practices for sustained recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions to ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse group of individuals seeking detoxification services, addressing not only substance use disorders but also accompanying social, emotional, and developmental challenges. Your role will be crucial in delivering empathetic support that acknowledges each client's unique background and recovery trajectory, facilitating a pathway to long-term wellness.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Current LCSW licensure issued by the Department of Public Health.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license, enabling travel as needed for client interactions.
  • Proficient in adapting therapy techniques to accommodate various learning styles and client needs.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration within the clinical team and with external stakeholders.
  • A respectful demeanor with a strong commitment to working collaboratively with diverse clients.
Preferred Experience
  • At least one year of experience in early intervention or mental health settings, specifically with children and families.
  • Familiarity with Natural Learning Environment Practices and developmental intervention strategies.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as we value the ability to communicate with a broader range of clients.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including:

  • Sign-on Bonus
  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401k retirement plan with company matching
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and Sick Time Pay
• Life Insurance and Profit Sharing options
  • Employee discounts and Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Tuition reimbursement for professional development
  • Flexible scheduling to promote work-life balance
  • Referral bonuses for bringing talent into our team
Career Growth Opportunities

Joining Highland Counseling Services opens doors to continued professional development. We encourage our LCSWs to pursue further training and licensure opportunities, providing financial support for relevant certifications and workshops.
