Job description

Kinetik is strategically located in the heart of the Delaware Basin in the Permian, one of the fastest growing areas for oil and gas development in the world. We provide the gathering, compression, processing, transportation and water management services required to bring natural gas, natural gas liquids and crude oil to market and are dedicated to providing the best service and netback for our customers. We are driven to be best-in-class and committed to growing our existing assets in the Permian Basin through both greenfield and acquisition opportunities.
Kinetik employees have decades of experience in West Texas and provide all the important services our customers need to deliver gas and crude oil production to market, which include gathering, transportation, compression, processing and produced water management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Remote Operations Center (ROC) Manager is responsible for the coordinated efforts of maintaining, monitoring, and controlling assets throughout the Kinetik system. The ROC deploys various teams to ensure continuity of flow from producers associated with the Kinetik system as well as meet delivery targets on the residue and NGL systems. The ROC Manager oversees and is responsible for the ROC operations, communications, and personnel. Ensures Kinetik provides 24/7 monitoring of the company assets in order to reduce downtime, improve overall system operations, and provide high level customer service to our producers.
  • Overseeing and monitoring the daily operations of compressor stations associated with the Kinetik Gathering System
  • Overseeing and monitoring the daily residue and NGL deliveries, including coordinating with gas control and third parties
  • Oversee remote operations of receipt points, controls, and compression throughout the system
  • Complete detailed reporting/record keeping of daily activities and events
  • Implement and follow procedures to provide consistent ROC operations across all assets
  • Answering calls and effectively communicating events inter office and externally as required
  • Oversee and effectively coordinate with different groups such as operations, maintenance, automation, I&E, EHS, etc. to quickly address issues that arise.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required
  • 7-10 years industry experience required
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to assume responsibility, be flexible, perform duties and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful conditions
  • Takes initiative and is proactive in addressing issues
  • Quickly and efficiently completes tasks
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communicator and coordinator with excellent work ethic and background in computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office

Working Conditions:
  • Available to attend in-person office and field meetings as needed
  • Occasional driving may be needed to travel to Kinetik plants and worksites as needed.
  • Will be working in an office environment with long periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Ability to work effectively in all working conditions noted above.
  • Will require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 15 lbs. on a consistent basis
