• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorders, documenting symptom severity, duration, and any relevant history.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, incorporating evidence-based practices.
• Educate and support clients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options, fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to align with evolving client needs.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans to ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions to enhance professional development and strengthen team dynamics.
• Advocate for mental health awareness and highlight client needs within the broader Chula Vista community.

As an LMFT at Full Heart Family Therapy, you will work primarily with individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Your expertise will help clients navigate their emotional landscape and develop effective coping strategies. • Active California LMFT license required.
• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist, preferably within a community health or clinic setting.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms to manage client information and conduct remote sessions.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities and a willingness to adopt new techniques based on client needs.
