Our diverse and innovative culture includes technology wizards, dedicated support teams, data scientists, creative artists, and behavior change experts. Our industry-leading products, services, and software support private health plans, hospital systems, and state Medicaid and Medicare members. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of the various health populations we serve through education, incentivization, and improved accessibility to healthcare supports.
This position is open to candidates residing in Oregon or Washington, and primarily remote via in-home office but requires occasional onsite visits upon supervisor request at our NW St. Helens Rd. location in Portland, OR.
About the Role
We're looking for a talented and versatile Graphic Designer with strong visual design skills and the ability to bring creative concepts to life across a variety of digital and multimedia formats. This role works closely with our Creative team and cross-functional partners to develop engaging, thoughtful design solutions that support our clients, products, and mission of helping millions of people live healthier lives.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in graphic and digital design, excellent attention to detail, and experience taking projects from concept through final execution. Experience with UI/UX, mobile apps, or digital product design is a plus and will provide opportunities to contribute to Finity's evolving digital experiences.
Responsibilities include:
  • Design original creative pieces across a variety of digital and multimedia formats, including illustrations, infographics, presentations, digital graphics, and animation
  • Develop creative concepts that align with client objectives, brand standards, and project requirements
  • Generate fresh creative ideas that support Finity's mission of helping millions of people live healthier lives
  • Create polished visual designs for digital products, marketing materials, client communications, and other creative initiatives
  • Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Product Development, and other cross-functional teams as well as with Art Director and other senior-level staff
  • Translate project requirements and feedback into clear, effective visual solutions
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail
  • Participate in creative reviews and incorporate feedback from internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices

Depending on project needs and experience, this role may also have opportunities to:
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for digital experiences
  • Apply UI/UX best practices to improve usability and user friendliness
  • Assist with maintaining design systems, components, and digital design standards

Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of professional graphic, visual, or digital design experience
  • Professional portfolio demonstrating strong visual design and completed creative projects
  • Strong skills in typography, layout, color, imagery, composition, and visual hierarchy
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Strong proficiency with generative AI tools and AI-assisted creative workflows, including the ability to effectively prompt, iterate, evaluate, and refine AI-generated content as part of the design process as well as create editable documents
  • Experience designing across multiple digital and multimedia formats
  • Ability to develop creative concepts and carry them through to polished final execution
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
  • Comfortable receiving and incorporating creative feedback
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A positive team player who wants to help create the next generation of innovation in healthcare
  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Communication Design, or another relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Must be available to work Pacific Time Monday-Friday business hours

Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Experience with UI/UX or digital product design
  • Experience designing mobile apps or responsive web applications
  • Familiarity with Figma or similar interface design and prototyping tools
  • Experience creating wireframes, user flows, mockups, or interactive prototypes
  • Familiarity with design systems and reusable UI components
  • Understanding of usability, accessibility, and responsive design principles
  • Experience collaborating with product managers and software developers
  • Healthcare industry experience or familiarity with HIPAA/NIST standards

Salary Description
Range starts at $65,000+ annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
