Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our multicultural outpatient psychiatry office. This full-time remote position, serves clients primarily from Media, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas, focusing on delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health evaluations to assess clientsโ€™ needs and formulate tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and culturally informed practices to support individualized patient care.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions that integrate unique cultural perspectives and heritage, addressing a range of mental health issues from anxiety to complex trauma.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other team members to coordinate comprehensive care plans that bridge various therapeutic interventions and medication management.
  • Deliver crisis intervention support for clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, ensuring quick stabilization and support.
  • Facilitate educational sessions that help clients and their families understand mental health challenges, treatment journeys, and available community resources.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and ethical practices.
  • Participate in interdepartmental case conferences and ongoing training focused on cultural competency and best practices in mental health.
  • Stay updated with current research and evidence-based practices to continually enhance therapeutic services provided to clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must hold an active and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and the ability to employ culturally responsive treatment approaches.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy, with the ability to adapt therapeutic strategies based on patient backgrounds.
  • Excellent crisis intervention skills, with proficiency in de-escalating situations and providing emotional support during emergencies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively engage and build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a strong aptitude for utilizing technology to enhance therapeutic practices.
  • A commitment to upholding professional ethics, maintaining confidentiality, and recognizing the importance of professional boundaries.
