Position Overview

Advanced Medical Care Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our compassionate team. Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining flexibility in your work schedule. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of evening shifts based on patient needs. You will be part of a collaborative virtual team that prioritizes effective communication and support, ensuring the best outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the specific needs and treatment goals of individuals seeking help with substance use disorders.
• Design personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient.
• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions that employ innovative therapeutic techniques, such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), to support clients on their recovery journey.
• Lead group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for participants to share experiences and strategies for coping with addiction.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure integrated and coordinated patient care.
• Respond to crisis situations with immediate intervention, providing support during substance-related emergencies.
• Educate clients and their families about the complexities of addiction, practical recovery strategies, and available community resources.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with applicable legal and ethical standards, ensuring that patient records are current and accurate.
• Engage in continuous professional development through team meetings, case consultations, and staying informed on the latest research in the field of substance use disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, primarily focusing on individuals facing substance use challenges. Your expertise will be vital in supporting clients navigating their path to sobriety, addressing the complex emotional, psychological, and social factors involved in addiction recovery. You will also provide resources and guidance to families affected by addiction, helping them understand and support their loved ones.

Qualifications

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Arizona.
• Profound understanding of substance use disorders, recovery-oriented care, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy specifically in addiction treatment settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a non-judgmental approach to patient care.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere rigidly to ethical guidelines while ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant healthcare technology.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with individuals suffering from substance use disorders.
• Experience with applying evidence-based practices in a remote therapy setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The selected candidate will enjoy a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, based on experience. In addition to the base salary, we offer a range of incentives including performance bonuses and a sign-on bonus. Our benefits package includes:
