The ideal candidate can also brainstorm and present original ideas and has experience collaborating in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.What does a DIS Team Member look like?You should be an ambitious and convergent thinker with a passion for solving complex problems.You bring continuous exceptional value as an action-oriented team player.You have a strong aptitude for video production, motion graphics, and animation.You should be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and samples of video editing and motion graphics work.You are passionate with a commitment to providing superior service, poised under pressure, and have an optimistic attitude!If this sounds like you, then we would love to meet you!Essential DutiesCoordinate with delivery teams under the supervision of a senior designer or project manager to conceptualize, design, and produce motion graphics, animations, and video content for digital and social platforms (e.g. explainer and educational videos, kinetic typography, animation (healthcare-related concepts, infographics, characters, diagrams, callouts), motion graphics, montage, b-roll, whiteboard, etc.).Act as a visual storyteller, offering creative solutions based on written and visual content, scripts, or input from stakeholders.Edit and enhance video content with motion graphics, titles, lower-thirds, transitions, and visual effects.Generate creative and original ideas for reaching and engaging target audiences and communicating key messages.Brainstorm, create, and present design solutions to clients and/or delivery teams via mood boards, storyboards, or other concept presentation techniques.Under supervision, guide products from inception to completion, ensuring quality control and consistency on final projects.Ensure adherence to accessibility laws prior to client delivery (including, but not limited to, 508 compliance).Ensure consistent branding on all materials prior to client delivery.Optimize graphics and animations for different platforms (web, broadcast, social media, presentations, etc.).Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with high-quality results.Think critically and apply customer and industry insight to solve client problems creatively and quickly.Required Experience and QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual or Fine Arts, Photography, Communications, Media, or related field at a minimumMinimum of 5 years of experience in motion graphics, multimedia, or video design working for a Creative Agency, PR/Marketing Agency, communications and marketing practice, government and/or government contractor, or non-profitExcellent samples of work must be available electronically for reviewSkilled use of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator (at a minimum), in support of multimedia deliverablesMultimedia video experience: perform technical pre-production, post-production, and editorial functions for video, including processing, delivery, and archiving;
