What is a Remote Motion Capture Actor?

A Remote Motion Capture Actor is a performer who uses motion capture technology to record their movements from a remote location, typically their home or a private studio. These movements are then translated into digital animations for use in video games, films, or virtual reality applications. The actor wears specialized suits or equipment to capture body, facial, or hand motions, which are sent to production teams over the internet.
