About the Role

Mortgage Solutions Financial is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor II to support our Retail Processing team. This role serves as an important partner and liaison between borrowers, Loan Officers, underwriting, and third-party service providers throughout the mortgage loan process.

The Mortgage Loan Processor II is responsible for gathering and reviewing loan documentation, maintaining accurate loan records, communicating loan status updates, and helping ensure loans move efficiently from application through closing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced mortgage environment.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Verify that all required disclosures, checklists, and program-specific documents are complete and included in the loan file.
  • Maintain the Loan Origination System with real-time status updates and detailed records of borrower and third-party communications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers when collecting missing or additional documentation.
  • Coordinate with appraisers, title companies, employers, and other third parties to clear loan conditions.
  • Communicate underwriting approvals, outstanding conditions, and loan status updates to Loan Officers and clients.
  • Prepare completed loan packages and submit them to Underwriting for approval.
  • Ensure closing instructions and required documents are delivered to the title company according to established deadlines.
  • Review final settlement statements with the Loan Officer before closing.
  • Collaborate with Mortgage Experts and internal partners to provide a smooth and positive client experience.
  • Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Periodic movement within the work or home-office environment.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
