Job description

Job Title: Customer Service Representative Location: Canton, MA Type: Contract Compensation: $20/Hour - based on experience Contractor Work Model: Hybrid (4 days onsite) Hours: 8a-4:45p, M-F Responsibilities
  • Process customer orders via phone, email, fax, and mail and ensure timely delivery
  • Arrange and expedite product shipments and provide order status updates
  • Act as a liaison between customers, sales, and plant personnel to resolve issues
  • Respond to customer inquiries and handle concerns in a professional manner
  • Coordinate returns, credits, debits, and related documentation
  • Work with Accounts Receivable to resolve billing, payment, and invoice issues
  • Promote customer satisfaction by following established policies and procedures
  • Support sales initiatives and encourage use of system-based ordering
  • Communicate customer issues to management as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred
  • A strong background in customer experience is essential, and prior call center experience is preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, order entry systems, and email
  • Ability to handle difficult customers and stressful situations professionally
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
