Our clinic operates in a hybrid remote model that allows flexibility for our therapists. As a community health clinic, we harness state-of-the-art technology and efficient procedures to support our therapists in their practice. We utilize a comprehensive billing service that efficiently manages client claims, insurance accounts, and payment plans, allowing our therapists to focus on what matters most—providing exceptional care to their clients.

• Conduct individual and couples therapy sessions, providing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Maintain prompt and accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and therapeutic progress in accordance with clinic protocols.
• Efficiently manage scheduling for ongoing client appointments, ensuring an organized calendar that meets both client and clinic needs.
• Engage in regular consultations with fellow therapists to share insights and enhance collaborative care efforts.
• Utilize our billing system to assist clients with benefit and eligibility checks, enhancing the overall client experience.
• Develop treatment plans and set measurable goals for clients, regularly evaluating and adjusting these as necessary.

At Riverhead, our therapists work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Clients come to us facing a range of challenges—from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and life transitions. Our goal is to create a safe space for our clients to explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and cultivate resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current LCSW licensure to practice independently in Maryland.
• Demonstrated professionalism, with strong therapeutic boundaries and cultural competency.
• Self-motivation and excellent organizational skills to manage a full caseload effectively.
• Ability to work full-time, committing to a minimum of 20-25 clinical hours per week and being available for at least two evenings weekly.

• Significant training or experience specifically in couples therapy is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and techniques, showing a commitment to professional development.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Riverhead Behavioral Health Clinic offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to this attractive salary, our therapists receive a sign-on bonus as part of our commitment to building a passionate team. Benefits include:
