Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Advisor to serve as a senior technical resource supporting our internal teams and Federal Government customers.

The Technical Advisor will provide technical leadership, solutioning, architecture guidance, and strategic recommendations across Cloud, Application, Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.

This position is ideal for a technology leader who has a broad understanding of modern IT and can translate complex Federal customer requirements into practical, scalable, secure, and technically compelling solutions.

The Technical Advisor will work closely with leadership, business development, capture, proposal, recruiting, and delivery teams to shape technical solutions and support Federal customer engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a senior technical advisor and subject matter expert for internal teams and Federal customer engagements.
  • Develop and evaluate technical solutions across:
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    • Application Architecture and Modernization
    • Data Engineering, Data Platforms, Analytics, and Data Architecture
    • Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models
    • Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and Microservices
    • Cybersecurity and Zero Trust
    • DevSecOps and Cloud-Native Architecture
    • Containers and Kubernetes
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    • Emerging and next-generation technologies
  • Analyze Federal Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), and Statements of Objectives (SOOs).
  • Translate customer requirements into comprehensive technical approaches and solution architectures.
  • Develop technical solution narratives, architecture concepts, technology stacks, implementation strategies, and technical diagrams.
  • Support capture and proposal development, including technical volumes, solution concepts, staffing approaches, and technical presentations.
  • Review technical solutions for feasibility, scalability, security, performance, maintainability, and cost effectiveness.
  • Advise leadership on emerging technologies and their applicability to Federal Government missions.
  • Evaluate new cloud, AI, data, cybersecurity, and application technologies and recommend appropriate adoption strategies.
  • Participate in technical discussions, customer meetings, architecture reviews, demonstrations, and presentations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering, architecture, and delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with business development and capture teams to identify technical differentiators and win themes.
  • Help develop reusable technical capabilities, reference architectures, solution frameworks, and technical accelerators.
  • Stay current with rapidly evolving technologies and Federal Government technology priorities.
Federal Government Focus

The Technical Advisor will support solutions for Federal Government customers and should understand the unique technical, security, compliance, and acquisition considerations associated with Federal environments.

Experience with the following is highly desirable:

  • Federal IT modernization
  • Cloud migration and modernization
  • Federal cloud adoption
  • Zero Trust Architecture
  • National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) frameworks
  • Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP)

  • Authority to Operate (ATO) processes
  • Cybersecurity and compliance requirements
  • Federal acquisition and proposal processes
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, technology consulting, engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience developing enterprise-level technical solutions and architectures.
  • Strong experience with one or more major cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Broad technical knowledge across Cloud, Application, Data, AI, and Cybersecurity.
  • Experience translating complex business and technical requirements into practical solution architectures.
  • Experience supporting technical solutioning, proposals, capture activities, or customer engagements.
  • Strong technical writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Ability to work across multiple technology domains and quickly evaluate new technologies.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government customers or Federal contractors.

Ideal Candidate

Rather than being limited to one technology, this individual should understand how Cloud, Applications, Data, AI, Security, and emerging technologies work together to solve complex customer problems.

The candidate should be able to take a Federal customer requirement and determine:
