Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and AWS to lead the architecture, design, and deployment of cloud infrastructure. As a senior member of the engineering team, you will provide technical leadership for cloud projects, develop advanced solutions, and ensure best practices in cloud security, performance, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex cloud environments and possess the ability to mentor junior engineers.ย 

This is a fully remote position with the option of working a hybrid schedule out of our Agoura Hills, CA office. We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $170,000, plus an annual bonus. You'll also receive our excellent benefits package, which includes medical coverage starting on day one and a company-matched 401(k). Compensation may vary based on experience, location, and other job-related factors.


Responsibilities
  • Cloud Architecture: Design and lead the implementation of complex, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers and collaborate with other IT teams to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions.
  • Cloud Services Management: Oversee the deployment and maintenance of key Azure and AWS services.
  • Cloud Migration: Lead large-scale migrations of on-premises systems to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth transitions.
  • Automation & DevOps: Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible. Automate operational tasks, including infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM) and encryption.
