Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for leading the global strategy, management, and promotion of ADM's Health & Wellness ingredient portfolio with Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) customers. The focus of this position is on developing and executing global growth strategies that support CMO partners ensuring ADM H&W ingredients are specified, approved, and adopted. This role serves as the executive relationship owner for CMO partners and is accountable for coordinating cross-border contract manufacturing relationships, aligning commercial, technical, quality, regulatory, operational, and supply chain objectives across regions. The role will lead a global CMO-focused multidisciplinary support team and work closely with Marketing, Product Development, Medical, Operations, Supply Chain, and Regional Commercial Leaders. The successful candidate will report to the H&W VP of Sales. The position is home-office based and requires approximately 40%-50% global travel.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver global revenue, gross margin, and operational profit targets across assigned CMO accounts and regions.
  • Build executive-level relationships for ADM-CMO collaborations globally.
  • Recommend and build the relevant product portfolio for the CMO partners in collaboration with Marketing, CD&D, R&D and Medical.
  • Develop short and medium-term commercial plans to expand the ADM H&W ingredients pipeline for acceptance by target CMO's and their brand partners, including R&D and Clinical research reviews, assessment of R&D/Clinical study gaps and recommended gap closing options, development of ingredient pitch decks.
  • Work together with the customer's Product Development in coordination with ADM's CD&D teams to ensure that the solution is smoothly integrated into the final product matrix.
  • Provide technical service support to customers in coordination with ADM's microbiome R&D and CD&D teams globally.
  • Lead the coordination and governance of cross-border contract manufacturing relationships, ensuring global alignment on commercial priorities, pricing, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and supply continuity.
  • Work collaboratively with regional and global sales, business development, supply chain, quality, and operational teams to execute global account strategies and cross-border manufacturing initiatives.

Job Requirements:
  • BS in marketing, communications, business management, life sciences, food science, nutrition, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of 12 years of successful experience in business development, sales leadership, strategic account management, or product management within the B2B ingredient industry, including deep relationships with leading global CMOs.
  • Previous leadership experience managing global key accounts, strategic partnerships, and contract manufacturing organizations across multiple regions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across matrix organization.
  • Key performance metrics include: Global Pipeline Growth, Revenue, Gross Margin (GM), Operational Profit (OP), Strategic Partnership Development, and Ingredient Adoption.
  • This role requires a strong blend of global commercial leadership and technical fluency to engage CMO partners, influence formulation decisions, coordinate international manufacturing partnerships, and accelerate pipeline development.

  • Working knowledge of microbiome, probiotics/postbiotics, and health & wellness ingredient science, including formulation constraints, stability considerations, and regulatory positioning.
  • Ability to translate scientific and clinical data into compelling commercial value propositions tailored to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience engaging with R&D, Product Development, and Scientific Affairs teams at CMO organizations, with credibility to participate in technical discussions and influence formulation decisions.
  • Competency in identifying clinical and application data gaps and collaborating with internal teams to address them.
  • Capability to co-develop ingredient positioning, technical dossiers, and application concepts that support customer adoption and inclusion in CMO stock or customer-specific formulations.
  • Strong understanding of product commercialization pathways, from ingredient approval through final product integration.

0-90 Days
  • Establish priority CMO account plans, including mapping of key stakeholders
  • Build credible technical and commercial positioning for ADM H&W portfolio within assigned accounts.
  • Initiate early-stage technical engagements with target CMO R&D/Product Development teams.
  • Identify and qualify new pipeline opportunities, including unmet needs and white space
  • Deliver initial pipeline build with defined opportunity stages and next steps.

90-180 Days
  • Achieve measurable pipeline growth in both volume and quality
  • Secure inclusion of ADM ingredients in active formulation discussions, prototypes, or development programs.
  • Advance multiple opportunities to mid-to-late stage pipeline
  • Establish ADM as a preferred or considered partner in at least a subset of priority CMO accounts.
