Role: WordPress Designer & Developer

Location: Remote

Incubator Lab is looking for a talented WordPress Designer & Developer to join our global remote team!

Role Objective

As a WordPress Designer & Developer at IncubatorLab.ai, you will be the creative and technical engine behind our corporate web presence. You will serve as the connective tissue between aesthetic vision and seamless executiontaking our core identity, modernizing its user experience, and directly integrating vital operational assets like our candidate-facing Breezy HR talent portal.

What You'll Do

  • Aesthetic & UX Overhaul: Redesign our existing WordPress website to reflect a premium, clean, and modern tech-forward corporate brand.
  • WordPress Development: Execute high-fidelity visual layouts directly within our WordPress backend using modern, efficient block or page-builder ecosystems.
  • Breezy HR Integration: Seamlessly embed and style our Breezy HR widget/portal so that live openings look native to our branding and allow candidates to apply effortlessly.
  • Mobile & Speed Optimization: Ensure the newly redesigned site is completely responsive across all screen sizes and optimized for fast loading speeds.
  • Structure Maintenance: Keep the site architecture organized, clean, and easily editable so non-technical team members can make future text or imagery changes.
  • Cross-Browser Testing: Quality check all links, interactive elements, and application form behaviors across multiple browsers prior to launch.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience designing and building custom corporate or agency websites specifically on WordPress.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing clean, minimalist corporate layouts, excellent typography, and intuitive visual hierarchies.
  • Hands-on technical experience embedding and custom-styling third-party JavaScript widgets, iframes, or ATS codes (such as Breezy HR, Greenhouse, or Lever).
  • Deep expertise with major WordPress block systems, visual builders, and lightweight themes designed for high performance.
  • Strong attention to detailensuring padding, alignments, and micro-interactions match high-fidelity design standards.
  • Clear communicator who can explain technical decisions and map out an efficient 2-to-4-week project timeline.

Qualities That Are Nice to Have

  • Experience designing web infrastructure for DTC (Direct-to-Consumer), e-commerce holding companies, or high-growth tech start-ups.
  • Basic understanding of modern performance marketing design conventions and conversion-driven layout structures.

Working Hours: Async-First

We are a global, remote team. We don't care when you do the work, provided deadlines are met and the quality is top-tier. We do ask for a few hours of overlap with US-based EST working hours each day to facilitate team meetings and Slack communication. This ensures we stay agile and can iterate on winning ideas in real-time.
