Come join our team where you'll make technology happen in surprising ways. Let's shape tomorrow - it'll be a fun journey!

At Ingram Micro, your ambition helps move the technology world forward. As an Account Executive, you will own and grow strategic relationships within some of Ingram Micro's largest and most influential technology partners in North America. This is a highly visible role focused on driving profitable growth, expanding executive-level relationships, increasing customer adoption, and aligning Ingram Micro's solutions, services, and platform capabilities with customer business objectives.

This opportunity supports Ingram Micro's Enterprise business unit, which serves some of the company's largest and most strategic customers. The successful candidate will inherit and manage complex, high-revenue enterprise accounts while identifying new opportunities for profitable growth across a broad technology portfolio.

Please note: This is a field-based role with up to 50% travel. Candidates should ideally be located within Ingram Micro's Central Sales Territory, with preference for the St. Louis or Chicagoland area.

What You'll Do

  • Own the strategic relationship for assigned enterprise accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for executive-level customer engagement.

  • Develop and execute account growth strategies that increase revenue, profit, market share, and customer adoption.

  • Expand both the breadth and depth of customer relationships across sales, procurement, technical, and business leadership stakeholders.

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within existing assigned strategic accounts.

  • Lead complex customer engagements involving RFPs, bids, contractual agreements, financial modeling, and proposal development.

  • Partner with internal sales, technical, procurement, and business development teams to align solutions with customer objectives.

  • Build strategic account plans that support customer go-to-market initiatives and long-term business growth.

  • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and proactively position Ingram Micro's products, services, and platform capabilities.

  • Manage account profitability and contribute to business unit growth objectives through strategic selling and operational execution.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of strategic sales, outside sales, account management, channel sales, or customer-facing business development experience

  • Proven track record of growing complex customer accounts and business portfolios.

  • Experience developing and executing account strategies that drive measurable business growth, profitability, and customer adoption.

  • Proven ability to build executive-level relationships, influence decision-makers, and lead customer-facing sales discussions, negotiations, and business reviews.

  • Strong business acumen, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and deliver customer-focused solutions.

  • Ability to travel approximately 50% for customer meetings and business engagements, including travel within the United States and Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technology distribution, IT channel sales, reseller organizations, or technology solutions sales environments.

  • Experience working with technology distributors, VARs, solution providers, resellers, or channel-focused sales organizations.

  • Knowledge of technology solution selling, distribution models, and enterprise customer engagement.

  • Experience managing profit and loss concepts, forecasting, and profitability-focused sales motions.

The ideal candidate combines strong sales expertise with exceptional relationship-building skills. You are naturally curious, highly collaborative, and comfortable engaging with executive stakeholders. You can simplify complex technology conversations, uncover business challenges, and create growth opportunities that deliver meaningful value for customers and Ingram Micro alike.
