Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that address specific needs, goals, and preferences of clients, ensuring tailored approaches to their unique circumstances.
  • Implement therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to enhance clients' coping strategies and emotional regulation.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices that can support their recovery journey.
  • Monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients, ensuring comprehensive support and treatment continuity.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment and incorporate new findings into practice to improve therapeutic outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role involves working with diverse individuals and families grappling with various mental health issues, such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and relationship challenges. Qualifications
  • Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • A compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgmental approach to client care, fostering a safe space for healing.
Preferred Experience
