• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate the substance abuse history, mental health status, and overall treatment needs of clients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both addiction issues and co-occurring mental health conditions while incorporating evidence-based methodologies.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals, registered nurses, and case managers, to ensure coordinated and thorough care.
• Provide guidance and educational resources to clients' families, fostering support systems that encourage active participation in the recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with all regulatory standards and ethical requirements.

You will primarily work with individuals seeking recovery from substance abuse, many struggling with co-occurring mental health disorders. • A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is necessary, although a master's or doctoral degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment methodologies.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to empathize with clients and facilitate effective collaboration with team members.

• At least two years of direct experience in mental health and substance abuse counseling.
• Special training in advanced therapeutic techniques and crisis intervention strategies is preferred.
• Proven track record of effectively working with diverse populations and addressing their unique recovery needs.
