North Carolina LMFT | Full-Time Remote Marriage and Family Therapist

Position Details

Location: North Carolina
Setting: 100% Remote / Telehealth
Employment Type: Full-Time
Annual Pay: $115,000-$120,000 plus full benefits
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Summary

This remote LMFT position focuses on providing structured, client-centered therapy to people navigating relationship strain, family conflict, emotional overwhelm, and major life adjustments. You will meet with clients through telehealth, complete clinical assessments, guide treatment conversations, and help clients build healthier patterns in their daily lives.

The role is direct, steady, and clinically focused. You will spend your time providing therapy, tracking progress, maintaining documentation, and supporting clients with care that is thoughtful, professional, and grounded in sound therapeutic practice.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled telehealth therapy sessions with clients located in North Carolina
  • Work with couples and families on communication issues, trust concerns, conflict, parenting, and relational stress
  • Provide individual therapy when concerns are connected to family history, relationships, or life circumstances
  • Complete clinical intakes, progress notes, updates, and other required documentation
  • Use evidence-informed approaches appropriate to marriage and family therapy
  • Identify safety concerns and follow proper protocols for risk assessment and escalation

Requirements
