Job Title: Marketing Data Analyst

Compensation: Pay: $70,000 – $98,500

Job Type: Full Time / Exempt

Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer

Location: Remote (St. Louis/Nashville)

Position Summary

The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for consolidating, analyzing, and interpreting marketing and sales data across multiple platforms, vendors, and locations to deliver actionable insights that support business growth. This role serves as the central resource for measuring marketing performance, connecting campaigns and programs to revenue outcomes, and providing reporting that enables data-driven decision-making.

This role serves as the central hub for performance insights, connecting marketing efforts to real business outcomes at the location level. The Marketing Data Analyst works closely with internal marketing teams, external agencies, and operational leadership to ensure marketing performance is clearly measured and translated into informed decision-making.

This position is ideal for a highly analytical, detail-oriented marketer who enjoys working with complex datasets, multiple vendors, and fast-growing brands, and who can turn messy data into confident strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities

1. Executive Reporting & Location-Level Insights

· Develop and deliver recurring performance reports and dashboards highlighting marketing initiatives, campaigns, and promotions by location.

· Analyze results at both the corporate and individual location levels to identify insights, trends, opportunities, and risks.

· Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations that support strategic marketing decisions.

· Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports that combine marketing and sales data.

2. Data Aggregation & Analysis

· Compile, normalize, and analyze data from multiple sources, including GA4, point-of-sale systems, digital agency reporting, paid media platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok), and email/SMS marketing platforms.

· Implement and maintain tracking. Ensure data integrity across platforms, tagging systems, and attribution models.

· Develop processes to improve data visibility, reporting efficiency, and performance measurement.

· Build reporting frameworks that connect marketing performance with revenue and booking.

3. Program & Promotion Performance

· Analyze the effectiveness of marketing programs, promotions, and campaigns.

· Measure campaign impact across ticket sales, birthday parties, group events, memberships, and overall revenue performance.

· Provide post-campaign reporting and insights to help maximize the impact of future initiatives.

4. Vendor & Agency Management

· Work closely with multiple marketing agencies and vendors, each with their own reporting methodologies.

· Evaluate and interpret third-party reports, consolidating key insights into a unified view.

· Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or inefficiencies in vendor reporting and flag opportunities for improvement.

· Support ongoing agency coordination and performance optimization..

5. Cross-Team Collaboration

· Partner with social, email/SMS, web, field marketing and operations teams to align data with marketing execution and provide performance insights.

· Assist with ad hoc analysis related to location performance, promotions, or leadership requests.

Qualifications

Education:

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

· 3–6 years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, performance marketing, or a related analytical role.

· Experience collecting, integrating, and analyzing data from multiple sources to support marketing and business decisions

· Experience building dashboards and data visualizations using Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.

· Experience working with point-of-sale (POS) or transactional data; Roller experience is a plus.

· Experience supporting multi-location, franchise, retail, hospitality, family entertainment, or consumer-facing businesses.

· Experience connecting marketing performance metrics with revenue, bookings, customer acquisition, and retention data.

· Experience working with marketing agencies, digital vendors, or external analytics partners preferred.

· Demonstrated ability to identify trends, optimize campaign performance, and drive measurable business results through data-driven recommendations.

Skills & Competencies:

· Strong proficiency in SQL or other database querying tools for extracting, validating, and analyzing marketing and transactional data.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling, and reporting.

· Proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), website analytics, paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok), and email/SMS marketing performance reporting.
