• Conduct preliminary interviews with clients, meticulously documenting their mental health journey from the initial consultation through to the conclusion of treatment.
• Assess the mental, behavioral, and emotional health of clients through comprehensive evaluations, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques and tools.
• Formulate detailed and personalized intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups that resonate with their specific needs and goals.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to encourage open dialogue and foster a safe space for healing.
• Monitor progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans to ensure the effectiveness of interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, physicians, nurses, and social workers to enhance the therapeutic effectiveness and client care.
• Follow up with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers for clients who require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.
• Identify and work to mitigate behaviors that pose threats to recovery, employing proactive strategies to support clients and their families.
• Engage with family members and primary caregivers to empower them in navigating the complexities of mental health challenges.

The clients served by Elite Coast Psychotherapy Services encompass a wide demographic, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families facing various mental health issues. Our counselors are equipped to handle a spectrum of conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. By prioritizing culturally competent care, our team ensures that every individual receives tailored support that respects their unique backgrounds and experiences.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
• Pass score obtained in the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Proven experience working as a mental health counselor, demonstrating depth of knowledge in therapeutic practices.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably AVATAR, to ensure efficient documentation and record-keeping.

• Experience addressing complex emotional and behavioral health issues, alongside addiction disorders.
• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices in psychotherapy.
• In-depth understanding of the pharmacological treatments prescribed by medical practitioners, providing integrative care for clients.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, enabling clear interaction with clients, their families, and other professionals.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine empathetic disposition.

This position offers a competitive salary range between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, along with a generous sign-on bonus.
