State Farm is seeking Software Engineers and Lead Software Engineers for our Platform Engineering Team to help engineering teams build and operate resilient, enterprise-grade cloud applications—with greater ease, speed, and cost efficiency.

Our Platform Engineering team delivers automated platform capabilities that simplify complex cloud workflows and provide data-driven insight into cost, risk, and compliance while scaling Engineering efforts across the organization. We’re re-thinking and building transparency and control into the way teams design, ship, and run systems. In this AWS-focused role, you’ll help shape the future of enterprise cloud platform engineering by owning architecture and implementation of advanced new patterns in our platform. Qualifications

You’ll be a strong fit if you have:

  • Proven cloud software engineering experience delivering value at scale (AWS preferred; Azure and GCP considered)

  • Hands-on expertise with cloud platform engineeringinfrastructure, and information security

  • Potential starting salary range: $105,000 - $150,000
    • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
    • High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
