• Conduct trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and identify appropriate treatment plans tailored specifically to promote recovery.
• Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment strategies that emphasize building resilience while addressing their unique trauma narratives.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and other trauma-informed methodologies.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a space for clients to process their emotions, learn coping mechanisms, and promote healing within a safe community.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for all patients.
• Provide crisis intervention services and support clients during traumatic events, ensuring immediate access to appropriate resources.
• Conduct educational sessions for patients and their families, enhancing their understanding of trauma responses, coping strategies, and available support systems.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities focusing on trauma-informed care techniques.
• Stay current with emerging research and developments in trauma therapy to continuously improve therapeutic practices.

Our client base includes individuals grappling with the aftermath of traumatic experiences, often leading to PTSD and related disorders. As a therapist, you will have the privilege of guiding diverse patients through their recovery journeys, helping them cultivate resilience, regain control, and achieve lasting mental wellness.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on trauma-related care.
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment strategies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exemplifying a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards patient care.
• The ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications related to mental health documentation.
• An aptitude for collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team framework.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused treatments and methodologies, including group therapy dynamics.
• Knowledge in community resources and external support systems for trauma survivors.
• Prior involvement in therapeutic educational programming aimed at patient and family engagement.
