Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and identify appropriate treatment plans tailored specifically to promote recovery.
  • Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment strategies that emphasize building resilience while addressing their unique trauma narratives.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and other trauma-informed methodologies.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a space for clients to process their emotions, learn coping mechanisms, and promote healing within a safe community.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for all patients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services and support clients during traumatic events, ensuring immediate access to appropriate resources.

  • Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure in California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
