Sales Commission Specialist
Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay rate $20-$25/hr BOE

The Sales Commission Specialist is responsible for all rep commission activities for assigned sites, as well as acting as the commissions subject matter expert throughout the Corporation’s global operation.

Essential job functions:
Process direct sales commissions and distribution point of sale commissions 
• Run monthly commission reports; internal and external 
• Reconcile and audit monthly commission data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency 
• Maintain point of sale zip code and unit of measure tables 
• Build and maintain relationships with Sales Channel Partners 
• Ability to identify and resolve commission errors 
• Commission table and salesperson master maintenance 
• Enter commission adjustments as needed 
• Ensure data integrity in the various systems used for commissions 
• Partner with cross functional teams including Sales, Finance, etc. 
• Assist with process improvements 
• Complete ad hoc reporting and metrics, as needed. 
• Run aging reports and contact customers by phone and/or email regarding past due accounts using effective verbal and written collections skills that ensure payment, while maintaining good customer relations 
• Research and analyze records as needed to resolve payment and/or credit disputes 
• Collect data and calculate monthly accounts receivable metrics 
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned

Requirements:
• Associates degree in Accounting, Business or Finance; Bachelor’s degree preferred 3+ years related work experience in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 
• Experience working in data systems and environments, performing situational problem solving, including intermediate level of ERP  experience preferred. 
• Operational mindset and solid customer service instincts; demonstrate accuracy and efficiency; sound judgment 
• Proven ability to work with cross functional teams and facilitate problem-solving processes and/or participate in cross functional projects. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationship success with individuals at varying levels across the organization and remote sales team 
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Ability to ensure commission information remains confidential 
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced global environment and multi-task with impeccable attention to detail while maintaining a high level of precision 
• Ability to work both independently and within a team to meet organizational objectives and deadlines 
• Self-starter with capacity to learn quickly and adapt to change 
 Knowledge of commissions rates and sales incentive plans 
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and financial analysis
